Leonardo Da Vinci studied birds until he decided that he was going to make a flying machine that man could basically 'turn into a bird'. he was going to strap 'wings' to a man's arms, then a rudder shaped like a bird's tail to this person's neck. It was going to be when this man turned his head right he would go right, and the same idea for left, but then there was the 2 problems. Well really, it was 2 problems merging into 1. First, there was the problem with arm strength. Then, there was the problem with getting off the ground. So he scratched that idea!
This was Leonardo's next chopper idea. It was as strange as the first one, but not as problematic. It was going to be worked with 4 men, all pulling a crank each. This would spin the rotor around in circles. This would make the machine rise into the air.
HE DIDN'T CREATE ANY OF THESE IDEAS PHYSICALLY. ONLY PEOPLE FROM TODAY MADE THE SECOND ONE (It didn't work!).
